Steps that tell
our story

Every step carries a story

Steps That Tell Our Story opens with the guild’s dance keepers performing the processional pieces exactly as taught by their grandparents — then the teaching begins. By the second hour, first-timers are in the line, hands linked, laughing through the turns.

Between dances, elders tell the two-minute stories behind each step: a harvest, a wedding, a homecoming. No experience needed; soft shoes recommended.
