KESTREL GUILD

/About us

We support culture
and identity today

Kestrel Guild Alliance is a living cultural association — artists, educators, and neighbors keeping heritage alive through festivals, workshops, and shared tables.

Honor the roots,
grow new branches

At Kestrel Guild, we honor the roots of our past while cultivating new ways to experience.

Founded in 2012 as a small circle of folk dancers and craftspeople, the guild has grown into a city-wide alliance. We believe heritage belongs to everyone — whether you were born into a tradition or are meeting it for the first time.

Through our three year-round programs — the Festival of the Arts, Art Moves, and our rotating walls exhibition — we connect generations, neighborhoods, and newcomers in one shared cultural home.

What we stand for

(01)

Heritage is living

Traditions survive by being practiced — danced, cooked, sung, and sewn — not shelved. Everything we program is hands-on.

(02)

Everyone belongs

Our doors, stages, and tables are open to all backgrounds, ages, and skill levels. Newcomers perform alongside masters.

(03)

Make together

We fund artists fairly, teach crafts openly, and share what we make — from festival stages to neighborhood walls.
